Celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2024!
The all-inclusive charge for one week at The Ashram California is US $6,300 per person. This rate includes 6 nights and 7 days (Sunday - Saturday) of lodging, meals, fitness classes, yoga, massage, lectures, facilities, as well as gratuities. A deposit of US $2,500 is required at the time of your reservation, with the remaining balance due four weeks prior to scheduled arrival.
Airfare to Los Angeles is at your own expense. We are unfortunately no longer able to pick guests up from the airport or Luxe on Sunday, or drop them off on Saturday. Please arrange transport with Resolute Transportation, or West Wind Limousine, or via taxi or ride-share (Uber, Lyft). Our program starts at 1:00 pm on Sunday and we do not allow private cars to be parked on the property.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel within 30 days of your scheduled arrival, 100% of your deposit plus the remaining balance of the total fee will be forfeited.
We are happy to issue a refund but only if we are able to book another guest in your place. A 10% cancellation fee will be charged to all refunded deposits.

Detox
If you have any eating, drinking or social habits that include stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, sugars, alcohol, diet drinks, drugs or any other products that artificially activate your metabolism, we strongly suggest that you abstain from them for at least two weeks before your stay with us. Also - you should be consistent in your cardio regiment before you come. Please start drinking more water!
In order to get the most out of your program at The Ashram, a purer, more natural diet will give you far better results and less discomfort on all levels in your pursuit of becoming a more magnificent YOU!
Note: Please be aware that as a courtesy to everyone and to insure the integrity of The Ashram – NO cell phones or computers are allowed around other guests or in the common areas.
Packing List
Hiking Footwear – (Aggressive Sole Trail Runners) Footwear should be well broken in, very comfortable and 1/2 to 1 size larger depending on individual comfort. Good tread on the sole is important.
100 oz. or 3 Liter Hydration system backpack with hip belt such as The Camelbak Mule. It’s important to have some space in the backpack for a light jacket, sunglasses, hat and other personal items. (Available at Sporting and Athletic Stores)
Hiking and Yoga Attire - Comfortable and causal fitness clothes. Bring a few sets as you will most likely want to change throughout the day after different activities.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
Our weeklong retreat runs from Sunday 12 noon PST to the following Saturday 11:00am PST
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The rate for our all-inclusive program is US $6,300 per person.
ARE GRATUITIES INCLUDED?
Tipping is not necessary or expected but graciously appreciated.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?
We recommend flying into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or The Hollywood Burbank Airport.
HOW DO I GET TO THE ASHRAM?
The most reliable way to ensure your prompt arrival is to arrange transport with Resolute Transport, or West Wind Limousine, or via taxi. Ride-shares (Uber, Lyft) are also available but, while more inexpensive, are also less reliable. Our program starts at 1:00 pm on Sunday. We do not allow private cars to be parked on the property. We recommend two limo companies in your follow up informations or Uber is always available.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You will receive a detailed packing list once you make your reservation. Good hiking shoes are a must. We furnish you with sweat suits, t-shirts, robes, and hiking poles.
CAN I BRING MY COMPUTER OR CELL PHONE?
We prefer that you disconnect from the outside world for optimal results. Our guests have come to understand over the years that the world can wait. We do have WiFi.
WHAT LEVEL OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY SHOULD I BE PREPARED FOR?
Our program is challenging with hikes ranging from 8-13 miles per day. We do have the ability to modify the routes based on an individual’s activity and fitness level but we recommend increasing your cardiovascular exercise in the weeks prior to your visit.
WHAT WILL I BE EATING?
Our food is organic, vegetarian and predominantly plant-based. We seasonally harvest most of the vegetables and herbs in our very own organic garden. Caffeine, sugar, alcohol, gluten and dairy are excluded from the menu to give your body and digestive track a chance to rest as well as reactivate your metabolism.
WHAT IF I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES?
We will do our best to accommodate any allergies or special dietary restrictions that you may have. Please contact our office to inquire about any special requests.
HOW MANY CALORIES WILL I EAT PER DAY?
We do not count calories. We are more concerned with providing you with a wholesome vegetarian diet. Out motto is “Increase your activity and decrease your food intake, and your body will do the rest” You will be amazed what your body can accomplish when fed nutrient rich foods. We don’t want want anyone to leave our table hungry so portions and additional snacks can be modified based on individual needs.
